To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Archangel Museum in Russia, the House of Meilland is proud to name the variety Meisselpier (known as Sophia ROMANTICA® in France): “юбилей музей Архангельское ™” (“Jubilee of the Archangel Museum ™ “). The baptism took place on July 11, 2019 in Moscow, accompanied by Countess Xenia Sheremeteva-Yusupova.
Despite its delicate appearance, this variety is very robust and will embellish the gardens of the Archangel Museum from spring to first frost.
