On March 31st, 2019, Marina Picasso had the privilege of giving her name to rose, a Meilland creation with white and romantic flowers.
This event took place during the 2019 edition of the Côte d’Azur Garden Festival, at the Villa Eilenroc, in Antibes.
This festival, launched in 2017 by the Department of the Alpes-Maritimes, is a real moment of fulfillment and sharing. Due to its success, its attendance and its media impact, this festival is renewed every 2 years in the spring for 1 month.
The ambition of the festival is to make the Côte d’Azur a leading destination for gardens related tourism, and the House of Meilland is proud to be part of this project.
The rose MARINA PICASSO® Meidyceus is a remarkable variety, as much for its robustness that allows it to adapt to all situations as the incredible charm of its many white flowers which are 8 to 10 cm in diameter. The plant is vigorous, healthy, and reaches a height of about 90 cm. It is easy to associate with perennials and grasses, in the garden or in pots on the terrace.
